What is a LAN?
LAN is an acronym for Local Access Network. Before high-speed internet connections and massive multiplayer online games, people would get together with their personal computers and play games by networking the computers together on a LAN. Now gaming can be done anywhere a internet connection can be made. At this computer competition we will create LAN areas for players to combat each other in the same room eliminating the dreaded lag time.
